Jesus Died On The Cross To Save Sinners
 
    I have a very strong faith in Jesus Christ the Savior     of the world. When I was young I realized that there was a God who built the universe. I was laying on my bed thinking about the world and all the things in it. At the time, it just dawned on me that a very powerful, alive, and everlasting God had created everything we see. All of the different animals, birds, plants, and so many other unique things just could not happen by themselves. The Bible states that God gives all men knowledge that He is and that He created everything we see.

Simple logic told my 13 year old mind that the Bible story I had heard was totally true. I have found no other writings that present any explanation that compares to the Biblical explanation. Men who deny the God of the Bible simply do not want to lower themselves to worship and obey Him. The Bible states that God has given all men the basic knowledge of Himself through the creation. It also says that anyone denying the existence of this Biblical God is a liar because all men receive this knowledge at some point in their lives. I believe that many people realize these same things. At that very moment they are face to face with a decision. For some, the easiest thing to do is to explain the facts away with one of the many excuses common in our world today.

Jesus was born for one main purpose, to pay the penalty we all deserve because of our sins. He took one heck of a beating for every person ever born. Some people do not believe that He was God, but the miracles He did and the things He said prove that He Is. He said 'I and the Father are one'.

Some people do not believe the Bible. There is so much evidence proving the history of the old and new testament.  Unbelief is really nothing more than an excuse for people to continue in their sins. Some people do not believe in sin. I would not want to be standing before God on judgment day singing that tune. Much Bible prophesy has been fulfilled and Jesus said He will return.

God has blessed me in so many ways. I had gotten to the point in my life where sin had a strong hold on me. Since I repented and begged God's mercy, things have been drastically different. I lost the urge to drink and use drugs. I don't swear or use bad language anymore. Many other sins and bad habits are a thing of the past. I spend a lot of time praying and reading God's word the Bible. The words of the Bible contain the words of life. 

Once I submitted my life to Jesus everything became new. I guess that is what 'Born Again' is all about. To live in heaven forever a man must be born again. If you need to be born again, I suggest you do 2 things. 

First, bend your knees and ask Jesus to forgive you and to have mercy on you, to save you. Tell him that you are sorry for the sins of the past and that you commit yourself to Him. Tell Him that you believe He died in your place.  Have Faith!   God Is Really Listening To You!

Your prayers are the way you communicate with Jesus. This is a very personal thing and can be done privately when you are alone by yourself. Praying is simply talking to God, you CAN approach Him. If you do this sincerely, I can promise you that He will approach you. And a great thing will happen within you. The Bible teaches that God is a God of love and tender kindness. You should pray and talk to Jesus every day.

Second, you should pick up a Bible and start reading. I would start with the New Testament and learn about Jesus. As you learn about Him your faith will grow. I don't know anyone who went searching and did not end up finding Him. He created the universe and He has immeasurable power. He said that whoever seeks will find Him. The major gift is eternal life with Him in heaven.

If you have read this far you may be a Christian. If not, you may be seeking for peace or fulfillment in your life. My life was empty, but now it is full and satisfied. Jesus fills the soul with peace and life everlasting. My prayer is that you will have that peace and joy which is free to all who ask and seek. You must seek Him. The rewards are eternal. God is not willing that anyone perish on judgment day, and that day will come. Where will you stand?
